How Does Throw Coast Disc Golf Protect Customer Information?

We have appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural security safeguards and technical and organizational measures to secure the Personal Information we collect. Your data transmission to our Website is done entirely at your own risk.

Our Website uses Shopify, which prioritizes protecting personal information. It securely stores customer payment details on its PCI-compliant servers. Throw Coast Disc Golf (Merchant of Shopify), we cannot access full credit card information. https://www.shopify.com/legal/dpa

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, but we may share or transfer personal information to a third party providing services such as data analytics. These services and business or commercial purposes may qualify as “other valuable consideration” for the definition of sale under the CCPA and CPRA. As the CCPA defines the term, we “sold” the following categories of personal information in the last 12 months: identifiers/contact information, Internet or other electronic network activity information, and inferences drawn from these categories. We “sold” or “shared” each category to advertising networks, data analytics providers, and social networks. To opt out of analytics, please make selections on our cookie banner.

The business or commercial purpose of “selling” personal information is for third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, such as marketing, advertising, and audience measurement.

RIGHT TO REQUEST THAT WE DO NOT COLLECT, SHARE, OR DISCLOSE MY SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION You have the right to limit how your SPI is disclosed or shared with third parties, as defined in the CCPA/CPRA. Within Threads does not sell your sensitive personal information and only shares it for accepted purposes.
2. RIGHT TO DELETION In certain circumstances, you have the right to request the erasure of your PI. Upon verifying the validity of a deletion request, we will delete your PI from our records and instruct any service providers or third parties to delete your information when applicable. 
3. RIGHT TO CORRECT/RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION In certain circumstances, you have the right to request correction of any inaccurate PI. Upon verifying the validity of a verifiable consumer correction request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct your PI as directed, taking into account the nature of the PI and the purposes of maintaining your PI.
